VARIOUS PreK SITES IN RSU3

We are thrilled to offer several options of early childhood classrooms to the families who reside in the RSU3 community.

Morse Memorial School in Brooks: Morse Memorial School offers a public PreK Program for children who turn 4 by October 15. This PreK classroom follows a school calendar and is offered Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Unity Early Childhood Center (formerly Unity Elementary School): One can find several early care and educational services for children three to five years of age. These state of Maine licensed, nationally accredited programs include: the RSU3 PreK classroom( a collaborative with RSU #3, Broadreach and Waldo County Head Start) for four year olds operating Monday through Thursday. The Center also offers the Broadreach Early Childhood Inclusive Program (ECIP) which offers full day child care, Monday through Friday 7:00Am to 5:00 PM

Walker School in Liberty: The newest addition to RSU3 PreK services is housed in Liberty at the Walker Elementary School. This program welcomes children who have turned 4 by October 15. The program is available to children who are eligible for PreK for 10 hours per week. If a parent desires a longer school experience than the PreK hours, Broadreach offers scholarships and sliding scale fee for tuition for their child care program. The program is offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and follows the school year calendar.
